So this morning Raw Story has up some great videos, this one specifically on where all the candidates stand on marijuana laws. There’s a few differences here that should be explored.
The group Granite Staters gives a rank to each of the candidates based on previous actions. Taking into account their votes and campaign talk both Clinton and Obama received A’s while McCain gets a F. There is a slight difference between Clinton and Obama, while Clinton talks about doing more research for medical purposes Obama comes out in full swing talking about how the war on drugs has failed. That decriminalizing just possession should be looked at to cut costs in the government. McCain on the other hand says that under any circumstance no one should get to use marijuana for any purpose what so ever. Thus his failing grade in both this situation and in life.
ABC is reporting that Obama now has a +2 super delegate lead. I don’t buy into it just yet, RealClearPolitics still has him at -8 but I wouldn’t be surprised if he overtakes her before the next primary.
This is what happens when we don’t talk to our so called ‘enemies’. Militants taking back what they feel is theirs street by street by any means necessary. While I wish I could understand it more there’s a ton of history of this dating back to 1975, the country currently doesn’t even have a president and law makers aren’t able to leave their homes. From my understanding Hezbollah won a majority of the council seats in the last election and they didn’t get any power, I guess I can sympathize as when the democrats took the house and senate back they did nothing but ruin everything.
Finally republicans on Wednesday made a complete ass out of themselves. They put in this resolution to honor their mothers, completely wasting the time on the house on this shit. I’m looking at you Rep. Jeffrey Fortenberry [R-NE]. Then as it was brought to a vote 178 republicans voted against it. Thank you so much for wasting our time, money and effort by pulling this shit. Maybe next time around you can TRY AND STOP THE GOD DAMN WAR.
